Ever since Ashley received her bike, with training wheels, Oliver has been nagging that he too wanted a "big boy's" bicycle.
This weekend Dadda made Oliver's day with a shiny new red bicycle. The joy and excitement of his first bike!

Cousin Angelique with her scooter bike.
Always amazing to see how brilliant you are :) Love the pic of Angelique - what a cracker!
(03.25.09 @ 09:24 AM)I wish I could hire someone with PR skills like Amori. She has managed to get her wedding (and my pictures!) into another bridal magazine, I need some wine to celebrate!
There is also an online version that seems like a pretty useful guide for brides.

Karen & Greig's wedding in a couple of days time.
Just last night I was talking to a girl in my photo class who is in charge of events at St Johns. I said I wish I'd known about one being able to have weddings there because I keep seeing picturess and it looks gorgeous. She said, "oh. did you see Andrea's pics in Konfetti?" So you're famous indeed! :-)
(03.25.09 @ 08:53 AM)Famous......I think not...aren't we all supposed to be dead before we become famous?
Did I hear you say Photography course?....contact me when you are done as you have one Evil eye!!I
Actually I'm done next week! I will MOST definitely! And thanks for the compliment...if 'evil' is complimentary...haha.
(03.26.09 @ 03:05 PM)It is who u know ;-), not what u know.... Congrats, Andrea! If u're good, u're good!
(04.16.09 @ 07:49 AM)It also doesn't hurt if you have a gorgeous couple, and a bride that co-ordinates wedding for a living!!
(07.10.09 @ 07:14 PM)A couple of days late on this one, but a BIG Birthday wish to Tanja. I did threaten, that I would post a pic from her Abba party, and here it is!
Dancing queens (both with wigs) Tanja on the right, me on the left.....believe it or not somewhere inbetween it all, I do sometimes have a social life!!
Oh this reminds me of the great old London days!!
(03.18.09 @ 03:37 PM)Tashie!!!
I am so glad that you still "frequent here" and that I got a comment!
SSSShtummmm about the London days I am trying to portray an image of professionalism and sobriety...and thank gawd for the passion for photography, as I have all the evidence (pictures).
I 'frequent' all the time...and am 'commentless' as your work is just too wonderful for words!! Real proud of you and just love to see the boys grow.
(04.03.09 @ 06:12 AM)I have been suffering from the most excruiciating headaches over the last four days, and this morning was just delibatating.
I made an apointment with a local GP this afternoon.
How one's life can change in a matter of seconds. The words MRI scan, Neurosurgeon and brain haemoraging were mentioned. My mind was racing and on my way to the MRI scan it rained. I parked a fair way away from the hospital and I had to walk quite a distance in the rain.
I always have an umbrella in my boot (for any rained out weddings) but decided that I would relish each and every raindrop. Arms out, head up, I walked at a slow pace just be glad that I could indeed appreciate the rain.
It works out I have a severe and acute inflamation in my sinuses, but I find the false alarm a god-send, as the important things in life are most definately the small things.
We often take life too seriously, that we forget to enjoy it, so here is to enjoying every joyful minute of it!
Glad that I have learnt a lesson.
I had planned to post a picture that I took a while back of Oliver playing and "relishing" the rain, but I can not find it so this will have to do.

Aaaah childhood memories....love the last one
(03.25.09 @ 08:31 AM)Beautiful!!!! A couple of years time, it will be real bikes and you'll have to take photos of all the boys ramping :)
(03.25.09 @ 09:53 AM)Beautiful pics, I can't believe you live in Joburg, seems like such a cool place to grow up!
(03.26.09 @ 06:50 AM)I now know why i am so busy i hardly get time to visit your blog, it is depressing for me in a way.
(03.26.09 @ 09:31 AM)You are the person that i look up to and the words" One day when i am big" come to mind.
I love the way you see this world of ours. Keep up the stunning work and congrads on all the magazines you are making it into. One of these days we will see you in O magazine. LOL

(03.26.09 @ 02:53 PM)We are very lucky where we stay, although the greedy developers have, unfortunately, discovered out little paradise!
