All these public holidays in April have thrown me totally out of sync. Jobs I thought would take a week have turned out to be two weeks.
I was planning on posting a wedding this week, but I did not make it. Apologies, I will aim for Monday.

Cowboys, cowgirls, candyfloss, rabbits and farm animals; the boys had a blast!.
Happy Birthday Angelique! (or 'aleak' as the boys call her)

Awesome work keep up the great work!
(05.14.09 @ 06:24 PM)A sugar coated long weekend which consisted of four Easter egg hunts this year, and enough chocolate eggs to feed a small country.
Happy Easter to all!

Such an exceptional and thoughtful gesture, that it warrants a post on its own.
At a wedding ceremony on Friday, with it being over the Easter weekend, the bride gave each child a very special gift. Smaller children received a beautiful Velveteen Rabbit, with a storybook and an Easter egg. Older children got carefully selected toys that were matched to detail their different personalities.
Tracy, the bride, very generously included a parcel for my boys, which included three very special bunnies, easter eggs and a storybook.
Thank you so, so, so very much! We read the first chapter yesterday and the picture below is of Oliver with his bunny, listening attentively to me reading the story of the Velveteen Rabbit.

Oh, that is the sweetest thing!. I'd love to say I would have done that if I'd had any children at my wedding (I don't think I had a guest under the age of 20) but I would never have thought of something so lovely!
Funny story: I drove right past you outside M & S on Friday without knowing it was you! I would have stopped to say hello (and distract you from your bundu-bashing) if I'd known. :-)
(04.12.09 @ 08:05 AM)It's a fairly sedate suicide-hour tonight. The kid's DVD seems to be entertaining them
No meal requests, no fighting, no running, no screaming... I'm actually not sure what is going on??
I am busy charging batteries and formatting CF cards for tommorrows wedding. It's been a busy week!
One thing that made my week, though, I had another quiet moment to myself this week - an entire, uninterrupted half-an-hour, where I was able to sit and relish the Q4 2008 results of the Wedding Photojournalist Association winners.
