I have been suffering from the most excruiciating headaches over the last four days, and this morning was just delibatating.
I made an apointment with a local GP this afternoon.
How one's life can change in a matter of seconds. The words MRI scan, Neurosurgeon and brain haemoraging were mentioned. My mind was racing and on my way to the MRI scan it rained. I parked a fair way away from the hospital and I had to walk quite a distance in the rain.
I always have an umbrella in my boot (for any rained out weddings) but decided that I would relish each and every raindrop. Arms out, head up, I walked at a slow pace just be glad that I could indeed appreciate the rain.
It works out I have a severe and acute inflamation in my sinuses, but I find the false alarm a god-send, as the important things in life are most definately the small things.
We often take life too seriously, that we forget to enjoy it, so here is to enjoying every joyful minute of it!
Glad that I have learnt a lesson.
I had planned to post a picture that I took a while back of Oliver playing and "relishing" the rain, but I can not find it so this will have to do.

Just quick post before I head out to a wedding. Pictures taken by Ursula on holday.

Stunning!
(03.14.09 @ 04:29 PM)Firstly, apologies to all who emailed me in the last two weeks.
I discovered on our return that whilst I had diligently typed an Out-of-Office for incoming emails, I had not activated it on the main email address, so I do apologise to those left "hanging" with no response to your mail
I am ploughing through my inbox and will hopefully get through it all tonight.
In the meantime, I promise all those bride-to-be* stalkers who had to endure "Uncle Bob's'" holiday slideshow (The Sequel), there are two wedding-related posts this week. The images are ready; I just need to update the blog write-up.
So there is a glimmer of light after "The Holiday" series.
*I am not negleting the men, but, I am not sure if grooms-to-be stalk wedding blogs?
Last part: Volume VIII, slideshow #3198 of our trip to the coast. These were taken at Umdhloti.

Wonderful kids!
And I like your style!
Trying to catch small fish in the rock pools - No fish were harmed (or caught for that matter!).
I think that is why they deliberately made the net a luminous yellow....to alert the fish!

Wow, I'm glad you're okay!
