Its been a scorcher of a week, here in Johannesburg, which means sprinklers and chardonnay!

Although a little late with this one, I would like to first thank all my blog followers for actually visiting my "humble portal", adding your valued comments and truly reading what I am mumbling on about.
Here's to 2009 and let's hope this year passes in less of a flash!
Much to my disbelief, I have made a couple of resolutions for the year.
Nothing too hectic or painful, so the wine and chocolate stay for another year! These resolutions revolve around "me", so it should be easier to abide by them.
One: I am going to organise my personal pictures, PRINT them (that's the biggie) and put them into my bare albums. I have a backlog of note that I am too ashamed to announce here.
Two: Project 365: A personal project where I aim to document our lives for an entire year. Almost a blog post with an image a day, except it will be more like a private journal - no fancy scrapbooking stuff, just a journal.
Three:Shout less (at the midgets) and stop a little to smell the flowers (the first part was already broken on New Years day; a two hour resolution).
Another smaller resolution: there will be no post without a picture, so here is Liam at the park (with bits of chicken in his teeth)

Hi Andrea, when you master No. 3 can you let me know your secret please? :-))
(01.05.09 @ 10:09 PM)...what makes it even worse, is that with Christmas over I have lost a fraction of authourity...I can no longer threat them with "Santaman is watching"
(01.07.09 @ 02:47 PM)The kids got their christmas stockings filled with sweets this morning... nothing like sugar intoxicated midgets at 7am... the joys ...fa la la la la la!
Liam had his red and white cane in his mouth running up and down the passage shouting "sucker" "sucker"...except with his limited vocab skills, he replaced the 's' of sucker to a 'f'.
Off to the folks to celebrate Christmas eve.
Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed Christmas.
Love the newborn shoot of the twins ... gorgeous! Loving your new blog layout too! Happy new year!
(12.27.08 @ 08:43 AM)Last part of our unplanned shoot....drumroll...Jake

It has been a roller-coaster year so I'll be taking a bit of breather. Hopefully I will be back again, raring to go in early January. In the meantime, I'll try and keep the blog updated.
Back on the 12th January 2009. E-mails and calls will be answered sporadically during this period.
Part two of our cancelled photo shoot.....next up Liam....

Love the light in the second photo!
(01.09.09 @ 01:23 PM)These photos are absolutely beautiful - you're so lucky, you know how lucky you are don't you? xx
(01.15.09 @ 12:57 PM)Yep, count my blessing every day, and I DO try and appreciate the small "unimportant" things...although this week has been a particular bad week in counting blessings.
