Liam and his "magic" bubble.

I was checking to see if there are any wedding pics up yet and saw these pictures. You have got the most beautiful children!!!
(10.13.10 @ 02:55 PM)Thank you for your message, Andrea. I really appreciate your thoughts. Hmmm...I think I prefer photographing elephants to snakes!!
(10.15.10 @ 08:55 AM)Hi. I just have to say your work is amazing. your children are beautiful. i have a question though. What camara do you use?
(10.17.10 @ 05:32 PM)I have a Canon 5D MII. These were shot with my 50m 1.8.
(10.18.10 @ 07:23 AM)Friday afternoon picnic. Grass under our feet, cold ciders, throwing stones into the stream . A perfect way to end the week.

I love lazy Sunday afternoons with family, food and wine - and sweet moments like this.
Sometimes, just sometimes, they make my heart say aaaaahhhh.

We are one week into September. How did that happen?
Well, August was insane. Amongst everything else, it also happened to be the month we had to enrol Oliver into school. (Yep, big school next year).
Finding a decent government school in our area proved to be a rather time-consuming and nerve-wracking exercise! Fingers crossed, however, we will finally get him into our school of choice.
I found a spare few minutes, (that statement in itself is incredible), so I thought I would share:
This image of Julian was rewarded 3rd place in the Portraits category of the African Photographic Awards, announced two weeks ago. I have been oblivious to this, as I was unable to attend the awards evening. So, a little happy dance in celebration of the belated news.
...and here's to September being a less stressful month!
Absolutely stunning Andrea.
I know this nominated last year in the Photographer of Year 2009 in the UK as well.
You are worth every gram of talent that you snap through your lens.
God Bless and well done. My money is on a Gold next year!
Well done!!!
Was wondering what had happened...that's absolutely FANTASTIC!
onwards and upwards ....next year a Gold :-))))
xx

So gorgeous!
