I have mentioned before, I do find it rather daunting/intimidating/nerve-wracking when I'm hired by another photographer and, in this particular instance, the pressure gauge was upped by two bars. Not only a photographer, but, a photographer who changed his wedding date in order to book me. Gasp. No pressure.
Sarah and Jay had a dreamy, whimsical outdoor picnic wedding and the simplicity and laid-back atmosphere was really beautiful. Complete with fabulously quirky invites, a stunning bouquet, picnic baskets and blankets, fairy lights, a handmade cake topper and plenty more.
Thank you, Sarah. Thank you, Jay.
We had an absolute blast with the two two of you - in fact, you barely noticed the cameras and were super-easy to photograph.
I hope you get Pulitzer prize-winning images in Thailand - No pressure! ;-)

How awesome, and different, is Sarah's wedding bouquet - once again handmade by Sarah.
I am not sure who's granny I captured? This was as Sarah walked down the aisle with her dad.
Once again too many images to select from (and too little time), so I am sure there will most definately a follow up post to this wedding.

I have great respect for all the brides that have to fit all the hoops and so on just to be the best looking bride ever and then when they get caught off guard, there is Andrea with a evil smile on her face as she knows she has caught that killer shot that will win her some accolades in the near future.

As usual I have been trawling through your blog which is what Florian and I often end up doing on a Saturday morning. For some reason we had never come across this before. Over a year on and we still often look back at our photographs and love them. They are one of our most treasured possessions. Its fantastic to see all your work and follow the many other happy couples. We never recommend anyone else when our friends are getting married. We hope you are well and happy. x
P.S. We are due to have our own little midget in December
